Toad Creations Photography

This weekend, I’m working to reorganize Becky Perkins’ website including her photography business site, Toad Creations.

Initially, the site BeckyLynnPerkins.com was setup for a different purpose and Toad Creations was setup on a sub site.  This weekend we are working to consolidate the two sites into one spot, which makes more sense.  So we are putting it here on BeckyLynnPerkins.com.

Becky Perkins is a photographyer, artist and a teacher.  She graduated from Savannah College of Art & Design in 1995.  She’s been working as a painter and photographer since.  Several years back, she later went back to school and attained a Master’s in Education.  She now also works full time as a teacher in the Gaston County School system, currently at Saddler Elementary School.

In 2008, she started refocusing her photography efforts towards weddings, events, and portraits.  Her business as a wedding photographer has grown very fast over the last year, which is part of the impetus behind redeveloping this site to add greater functionality to it.

The site design, configuration and management is done by Softduit Media, which happens to be owned by Becky’s husband Brett Bumeter.  Brett specializes in social media, blogging and setting up bussiness websites with WordPress as a CMS, an open source free software program that resides on a server that enables a business owner to manage their own website without needing much if any web experience.
